Registering a domain and hosting one is usually mistaken by many people to be one and the same thing. They are actually 2 separate services - the domain address registration is the actual name and nothing else, while the hosted domains feature shows the number of already registered domain addresses that you can accommodate within the same website hosting account and have website data and e-mails for them. Your websites will function in exactly the same way no matter whether the domain names are registered and hosted in one place or are registered with company A and pointed to company B. Simply registering a domain without hosting it will grant you ownership, but will not enable you to have a website unless you host this domain name in some account so that records for it are set up and it starts opening the content from that account.

Hosted Domains in Hosting

The hosting solutions we provide enable you to host a different amount of domain addresses. That way, you can pick what package to purchase and how much to pay based on your needs. If you choose to host more domain addresses at some point than the amount the current plan allows you to, you can easily upgrade the whole plan or keep the same one and just add more slots for hosted domain addresses. If you want to use the registration services of another company, you will be able to see the name servers you have to set for your domains so as to direct them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains area of the CP on our end. If you prefer to have everything in one spot, however, there's no limit on the amount of domain names you can register/transfer as part of your account regardless of the hosting package that you have chosen. Then you could decide if you will host any of them or you will direct them to other existing domains.

Hosted Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

If you purchase a semi-dedicated server plan from our company, you will be able to host as many domains as you would like regardless of whether you register them here or you already own them through a different company. We have decided not to limit this feature as the semi-dedicated plans are very powerful and the load they are able to handle is quite high, therefore it wouldn't add up to be able to host a limited number of domain names. The accounts are handled through the Hepsia Control Panel, which will present you with complete control over your hosted domains. You can add a new domain address with a few mouse clicks and everything is done quickly and intuitively, unlike rival Control Panels where you might even have to switch between separate accounts to control a couple of domains. In the event you register a new domain address on our end, it will be hosted automatically in your semi-dedicated account.

Hosted Domains in VPS

With our Linux VPS services you're going to get ample resources at your disposal and since you'll have your own server, it is only natural that you can host as many domain addresses as you wish. You can select between 3 web hosting Control Panels during the signup process and depending on your choice there are two different alternatives. If you select our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel, all domain names hosted on the server will be handled collectively via one account and newly registered domains will be hosted automatically, while if you select cPanel, you will be able to create an individual account for every single domain and for new registrations you'll have to add the domains manually. The second option may be more convenient if you have to grant access to a certain domain to a third party without granting them access to the whole server or other domains hosted on it.
